Meet Team Vislor - Bicester
Ashley Foster - Vislor Dog Trainer

Ashley’s life has revolved around dogs and dog training. His parents have been involved in showing and working dogs, particularly German Shepherds, since before he was born.
Ashley trained and competed with his own Working German Shepherds in Dog Sport to the level of IGP-III before working for TV & film stunt dog agencies from 2014 to present.
The skills that he has learned in competitive Dog Sport gave him a great foundation for working with animals. Furthermore, his experience in the TV and film industry has been a great education for Ashley in animal behaviour and well-being.
To date, Ashley has trained hundreds of diverse kinds of dogs from highly motivated competitive Sports Dogs to pets with extremely challenging behavioural problems and he loves working with every one of them, especially our very own Vislor Antilly.
Ségolène - Vislor Dog Trainer
From a very young age, Ségolène has always been passionate about cinema and animals. Joining up with the Vislor team has helped her to combine those two passions through the work that she does.
Ségolène grew up with all sorts of animals, there was never a moment where the family home was inhabited by humans exclusively, welcoming dogs, cats, hamsters and even the ones she didn’t know they had, like dormice in the attic!
After traveling and working in the film industry in France, where Ségolène is from, she had the chance to join the Vislor team and learn from the best! She is now the proud owner of a lovely blue Merle Border Collie named Java, a true French boy at heart, as his biggest passion in life is cheese and saucisson.
There is no greater feeling for Ségolène than training dogs and doing what she loves with the fabulous animals she works with.

Bicester Training Reviews

Linh Vi & Sumo (Malamute)
It’s been a few months since we had training with Ash for our malamute Sumo.
It’s was such a relief to find someone after trying a few) that understood our concerns. Sumo was 2 and half years old when he joined our family and his previous owners hadn’t socialised him much as a puppy due to covid. Sumo was a terrible puller and dog reactive, not aggressive just wanted to say hello every dog he saw. But his size and over excitement and pulling made walks very stressful. Sumo had pulled me down a few times, so we were desperate for some help.
When Ash turned up in his van and dogs we were so excited as we felt here was someone who knew what he was doing. We found Ash really professional and appreciated that he took time to sit us down for a chat to really find out what we wanted to achieve from the training g session, which was to learn to to reduce the pulling dog reactivity.
Ash introduced us to a half checked collar and to be firmer with Sumo as well as give plenty of rewards. To our delight Sumo was able to walk side by side with Ash’s dogs and not pull, all this in less than an hour. We learnt a lot from Ash and used what he taught us for a couple of weeks and was then able to change back to the no pull harness (we tried this earlier, but Sumo was still pulling before the training).
We highly recommend Ash and his pack of dogs, they really helped with our Sumo 😊

Tracie Heard & Shylah
Ash and sego were amazing with our puppy gsd Shylah.
She was really reactive to cars, pushbikes and joggers and they sorted it out in no time. She is so much more relaxed when walking on the lead now.
They have so much experience with all types of dogs , our sessions were so beneficial.
It is really important to have control of your dog and this is the place to go to achieve that.

Kayhan Segel & Sofia (German Spitz)
My wife and I contacted Vislor for help with our German Spitz, Sofia. She has anxiety around other dogs, quickly becoming aggressive, which makes walks and visits to pubs difficult.
We tried to train her ourselves and had another dog trainer, but without results. Ash visited us to discuss our needs and meet Sofia. We then organized a 1:1 training session. Ash brought several of his dogs with him, and by the end of the session Sofia was able to walk alongside his dogs.
We were very happy with the quick results and will be taking advantage of the residential training offering while we travel over the holidays.

Caroline Hawkins & Luna (German Shepherd)
Fantastic experience I thoroughly recommend.
After some very challenging (and scary) reactive behaviour with my German Shepherd on walks I contacted Vislor for help. After just 1 training walk showing me better techniques to manage her I was able to walk close past people, buggys and cyclists and after 2 weeks practice and 1 more lesson I was able to pass off lead dogs (my biggest nemesis!). Unbelievable.
Its still a journey and takes a lot of personal training commitment but totally worth it, I can now enjoy walking my dog again, the impact on our life is amazing 🤩

David & Jane Lapham – Max (Weimerana)
Ash has worked wonders with Max!
We could not have imagined this pic 3 weeks ago. It is a case of learning what we needed to do to teach what is acceptable behaviour.
Walking is now a much more relaxed affair and we can have visitors to the house.
Still a way to go but I believe with help from Ash anything is possible

Clair Peters & Bud (Labrador Puppy)
Ash, and Vislor, were fantastic partners in our journey to train our Lab puppy. They were flexible with schedule and having them come to the house was a huge bonus. Our dog is still working on getting to 100%, but we got a great foundation of skills and tools from them to continue the training ourselves.
Highly recommend working with Vislor, and Ash, and we’ll definitely be using them again for either refresher training or if we get another dog.

Libby Delaney & Puxley (Working Cocker)
We sent our adorable but excitable working cocker spaniel to Vislor and have been so impressed with the whole service.
Our 1 year old dog used to pull on the lead and get so distracted out on walks that we rarely trusted him to go off the lead. He caused a lot of frustration.
After 3 weeks of being trained and cared for like he was one of the trainer’s own dogs, he walks perfectly on the lead and will come back when called. He’s now an absolute joy to take around, whether you’re in the countryside or in London.
We were sent regular updates while he was away and given a really clear plan at the handover.
We couldn’t recommend Vislor highly enough.

Angela Hunt & Balloo (Malinois x GSD)
Vislor has been amazing!
Ash has been supporting my husband and I with our Malinois x GSD puppy and his experience and professionalism have been superb. He loves our pup as much as we do and cares for him as if he was his own. He's supported us with both training and behavioural advice for both our pup and us. This has been invaluable as it means we can carry on the training.
I can't recommend the entire team within Vislor enough and would advise anyone to try them!

Alison & Tom (Dachshund)
Ash and Sego came to visit today; they have armed me with such simple (but effective) techniques to help my dog, who has been very reactive to everything in recent months. They really understood him, and helped me see where I had been going wrong!
I couldn't believe that we managed to walk with two of their dogs (on and off lead), and my previously very reactive dog, was chilled and happy to be in the wider groups company.
I can't wait to get out and try this on my own!

**Update 10/01/22**
I can't put into words this weekend...
We walked along the beach (a absolute trigger for Tom previously), and he walked pretty much to heel on the lead... my husband said 'its astonishing'
We walked around a country park with my parents (who walked with him Sunday the previous week - and said his behaviour couldn't continue)... who were stunned by his response to other dogs on the walk (ignored them)... they have previously had the dogs, and said it would be a pleasure to have him again (I promise not how they felt the Sunday before!!!)
You've amazed so many... I appreciate we have a lot to build upon... but truly remarkable. We haven't let him off lead, but I feel thats all about setting boundaries, and not running just yet (lets give him a success!!!).
Thank you Ash - you have actually transformed our world and most importantly... Tom is just happier... more tired as he's exploring more... but his body language is happier

Rhys Morgans & Bo (GSD)
Finding the words to describe the transformation of our German Shepherd is going to be difficult, amazing brilliant, excellent just don't seem to do it justice. Our GSD Bo, stayed with Ségo and Ashley for 3 weeks due to her reactivity to dogs, cars, people, cats....the list was endless!
The dog we have back is hard to recognise from the one that sent in, Ségo and Ashley put our minds at rest, trained and cared for our dog wonderfully. She is now much less reactive and I would say a pleasure to walk, she is much calmer in general and whilst not the finished article, Ashley and Ségo both spent time during the handover to ensure that we understand how to continue with their marvelous work.
Simply cannot thank them enough.
