Ashley Foster - Vislor Dog Trainer

Ashley Foster - Vislor Dog Trainer

Ashley’s life has revolved around dogs and dog training. His parents have been involved in showing and working dogs, particularly German Shepherds, since before he was born.

Ashley trained and competed with his own Working German Shepherds in Dog Sport to the level of IGP-III before working for TV & film stunt dog agencies from 2014 to present.

The skills that he has learned in competitive Dog Sport gave him a great foundation for working with animals. Furthermore, his experience in the TV and film industry has been a great education for Ashley in animal behaviour and well-being.

To date, Ashley has trained hundreds of diverse kinds of dogs from highly motivated competitive Sports Dogs to pets with extremely challenging behavioural problems and he loves working with every one of them, especially our very own Vislor Antilly.

Ségolène - Vislor Dog Trainer

From a very young age, Ségolène has always been passionate about cinema and animals. Joining up with the Vislor team has helped her to combine those two passions through the work that she does.

Ségolène grew up with all sorts of animals, there was never a moment where the family home was inhabited by humans exclusively, welcoming dogs, cats, hamsters and even the ones she didn’t know they had, like dormice in the attic!

After traveling and working in the film industry in France, where Ségolène is from, she had the chance to join the Vislor team and learn from the best! She is now the proud owner of a lovely blue Merle Border Collie named Java, a true French boy at heart, as his biggest passion in life is cheese and saucisson.

There is no greater feeling for Ségolène than training dogs and doing what she loves with the fabulous animals she works with.

Bicester Training Reviews

Kim Wilson & Lyla (Fox Red Labrador)

Today was our first training session with our all of a sudden reactive red fox Labrador Lyla.

Ashley was brill and explained everything including what we thought we were doing right was wrong! Within 5 mins Lyla had calmed and was walking to heal.

The introduction of Ashley’s dogs was tricky but we stuck to the rules and Lyla did herself proud. Me however wanted to puke 🤮 from all the stinky sausage that Lyla Loved! That said I have been to Lidl and stocked up! It’s the first day and still a lot of work to do but feel confident we are on the right path with Ashley’s support and guidance. Thank you!

I also got to meet Antilly (After Life was the best!) which was a bonus! Xx

Maria Keenan & Aisla (Staffie x Frenchie)

Great 1st session to start sorting out Isla’s aggression towards other dogs.

Ash starts off with getting the fundamentals right then everything else will fall into place. Excited to ‘fix’ our issues and be able to have her around other dogs without worrying if she will attack them.

Now I know what I should be doing. Wish I’d found him a year ago!

Angela Hughes & Suzie (German Shepherd)

Ash was great with Suzie our German Shepherd.

In just the first visit Suzie was walking to heel ignoring other dogs that came out to test her. It was like having a different dog in such a short space of time.

Ash provided lots of takeaway tips to keep Suzie on the straight and narrow going forward.

Highly recommend.

Tony Everett & Reggie (Labradoodle)

This training resonated perfectly with what I think my dog needs - the right balance of correction and reward.

I saw immediate results and If I’m consistent with what we were taught, I know Reggie will be a much more enjoyable dog to walk.

Chris Kirby & Kenzie (German Shepherd)

Money well spent. Ash was fantastic.

The initial time spent finding out Kenzies history together with the problems I was unable to rectify myself was invaluable. Ash's methods and tools (two of his own German Shepherds) were incredible with almost instant results.

By the time Kenzie and I left Ash I felt I had a much happier and controllable dog by my side.

I would recommend Ash's services to anyone who wanted an all round happy partnership between owner and dog.

Thanks very much for all your effort.

Jason Hollingsworth & Mycrofts (Husky)

Up front, I have to simply say that this is the best money I have ever spent!

I have a 9 month old Husky and it’s amazing how many professional dog trainers run for the hills when you ask for help. Ash combines a wealth of experience, an ability to read the requirement, and a fantastic array of skills to help you get the best for not only your dog, but you as the owner.

Through a simple process of interviewing us as the owners (to establish your goals and identify any factors that might affect his approach) and practical, pragmatic exercises, we were able to realise almost instant benefits.

Not only would I recommend Ash, I’ll be taking my dog back for progress checks and to see how we can polish the act!

Sue Parfitt

Ashley helped me train my GSD to become a well socialised family dog who I relied on to make me feel safe in uncomfortable situations.

Ashley tailors his training to exactly what you need from your dog, with great sympathy and professionalism.

I would not hesitate to recommend him and Vislor dog training.

Jodie Creed & Max (German Shepherd)

Absolute magic.

My reactive GSD hasn't even glanced at another dog since out initial training.

Can't wait to get our recall sorted too later on!

Paul Wells & Delta (German Shepherd)

It's not just about the dogs — Ashley Foster's work extends to their owners too 🙌

In addition to providing resources for training and care, Ashley empowers dog owners to build a stronger bond with their furry friends.

Bella the English Mastiff during Vislor One-to-One Dog Training - Bicester

Katie Sykes & Bella (English Mastiff)

I had 2 labradors and then added a rescued 4 year old mastiff into the mix. She was a real challenge as had already bit someone, she was reactive to dogs and people and it made walking the dogs not fun at all. She would leap and bark and pull me clean over.

After 2 hours with Ash, I couldn't believe the change in her, he is amazing with dogs and really took the time to work through the problems.

I have plenty of homework to do and I'm looking forward to doing some more with with him on how I can get to the stage of off lead and recall! I never thought I could get to this stage, honestly, if you are struggling with your dog then give these guys a call.

Fantastic results.
