We Train Your Puppy For You

Our Puppy Residential Training School is a custom package where your puppy can stay in the home of one of our highly experienced Vislor Trainers and receive all the training that our dogs would normally go through; depending on the size, age, breed, and ability of the puppy.

Our aim is to give your puppy a great start in life, with a good foundation of manners and obedience for you and your family to be able to continue with the training throughout your life together and have great fun adventures together.

How Puppy Residential Training Works

The minimum duration of our Puppy Residential Training package, for you to see noticeable progression in your puppy, is five weeks. A 40% deposit is payable upon booking and the balance either before or on the day of the stay, before we take your dog. You will meet with one of our trainers for a chat prior to booking residential dog training so that you can be confident in leaving your pet with us. This also gives us an opportunity to assess the suitability of your dog for this type of training.

This training package is suitable for puppies that have been fully vaccinated and are no more than five months old. If your puppy is older than five months, then we would recommend the Vislor Dog Boot Camp Residential Training Programme.

As your puppy will be spending a lot of time with other dogs, we also recommend that your puppy is vaccinated against highly contagious kennel cough.

For maintenance of your puppy’s current level of training, or any other puppy-related requirements, please enquire with Lorraine on +44 7973 320413 or fill out the Contact Form.

We provide progress reports to keep you updated and reassured that your pet is safe and well. We do record video clips and publish them on our social media channels. If you would prefer that your dog does not appear on our social media channels, then please do let us know at the time of booking.

An inclusive handover session will be carried out when the residential puppy training is complete. We will demonstrate what has been achieved, go with you on a dog walk and teach you how to keep on top of what your puppy has learned.

To advance the training even further, you can book additional top up lessons or future residential stays; perhaps when you next go on holiday.

London Pickup & Drop-off Service

We receive many enquiries from the Greater London area regarding our Puppy Residential Training School. We are pleased to announce that we now offer a pickup and drop-off service.

Ordinarily, we like to meet clients and assess the dog in person. However, we have recently developed procedures that enable us to do this remotely.

We would need to arrange a video or telephone consultation for clients requiring pickup in advance. Additionally, video footage of undesirable behaviour would be helpful.

All dogs are transported safely in comfortable crates, securely fitted in our modern, fully insured vans. Water is always available, and we take regular breaks for toileting and exercise.

The cost of transportation is £150 per pickup or drop-off, in addition to the cost of puppy residential training. You are most welcome to visit us in person if you would prefer. All visits are by appointment only.

We offer a pickup and drop-off service for other areas and would be happy to provide a quotation. Don't hesitate to contact Vislor Dog Training today via the Contact Form or by calling Lorraine Foster on +44 7973 320413.

ALL VISITS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

For the best possible outcome for you, your dog and the trainer, we kindly ask that you do not bring children to meetings and lessons.

Puppy Residential Training Reviews

Bailey the Cocker Spaniel

Megan Rose & Bailey (Cocker)

Lauren had our 12 week old cocker spaniel Bailey for 2 weeks. She put in place some excellent boundaries and foundations for him in order for us to carry on training at home.

She reassured me with regular updates on how he was progressing and communicated with every step.

Really good service!

Scott Fairfax with his Labrador Max at Vislor Puppy Residental Training - Coventry handover.

Scott Fairfax & Max (Golden Labrador Puppy)

Lauren had max our golden Labrador for 5 weeks and done a great job at getting the foundations in place for us to carry on training at home.

We can’t thank Lauren enough for her time and commitment to getting max trained.

Frankie training Lennon the Golden Retriever at Vislor Dog Boot Camp - Tamworth

Leanne O & Lennon (Golden Retriever)

I had a big trip to the USA planned, but needed someone to look after my 12 week old golden retriever. I was so worried about leaving him at such a young age for 2 weeks given that we had made huge progress with his toilet training and tricks.

I decided to look for a residential training option with the aim to have my puppy looked after and trained every day to ensure when I came back, my puppy had not regressed and had hopefully learnt a few more things in my absence.

Frankie took my puppy Lennon in and she has done a fantastic job at training him. She sent me regular updates of him, and she trained him every day to help with better walking, marker and clicker training.

Lennon has come back from his residential stay with Frankie a more clever boy, and i was really worried he didn’t want to come home with me as he fitted in perfectly with Frankies family and her other 2 dogs Stella and Molly.

This experience has been brilliant for lennon, I would highly recommend Frankie - I relaxed while I was away knowing that Lennon was in the best care possible.>

Thank you so much Frankie! :)

Ben Wong & his Rottweiler Puppy 'Molly' at Vislor Puppy Residential Training - West Midlands

Ben Wong & Molly (Rottweiler Puppy)

The residential training provided by VISLOR was first class.

Travis explained clearly what training was needed to achieve the objectives. The goals were achieved within a preset time frame through balanced training [i.e. both positive and negative reinforcements].

I was updated regularly about the progress via WhatsApp. Any queries were answered promptly. Rather than putting my K9 in a kennel, this was time and money well spent.

Highly recommended.

William Graydon (A.K.A 220 KID) with his Puppy Chunk at Vislor Puppy Residential Training

William Graydon & Chunk

What a great experience this was for both me and my puppy chunk! I was also nervous about him going away for puppy camp residential but Sharne was always in communication daily updates videos and photos.

Chunk has come back a really well behaved boy the proof being first day we were out walking (he walks to heel and doesn’t ever pull) a dog off its lead jumped for him and tried to cause a scene and chunk calmly ignored it and walked off. A really reassuring moment and proof of the training. Everyone always comments on how well behaved and calm he is which for me with my work is so important.

I’m so glad I chose to send him to Vislor and they treated him as their own, he was definitely sad to leave but we will be having some more classes in the future to keep developing the great skills they have taught him. It has transformed his life for the long term good! Bringing out the absolute best of him. They even went above and beyond to teach him some extra obedience tricks which was a brilliant surprise and he loves practicing these.
